Abstract:

Two University Colleges - KaHo Sint-Lieven (KAHO) and Hogeschool Universiteit Brussel (HUB) - are investigating whether production of noble crayfish could be a viable activity for Belgian farmers. Nowadays many farmers are trying to diversify their activities, and in this context crayfish culture might be an interesting way to provide an additional income.
