Abstract:

Cyber-attacks often target healthcare organisations. Attacks might initially spread through files and enclosed pieces in emails. Malicious code can be hidden in an apparently non-suspicious file among health or administrative information. Within the SAFECARE project, a file analysis system is designed to perform static analysis to look for malicious code into the files and dynamic analysis to check file behaviour in a sandboxing environment. The present Deliverable (D5.5) aims to provide the specification of the advanced files analysis system that will be developed within the SAFECARE project. The document includes privacy and data protection legal requirements that are relevant for the design and deployment of the solution into question.
