Abstract:

Heat pumps can significantly lower the CO2 emissions of residential space heating. This highly depends on the considered electricity production park. This paper investigates how the electricity demand of residential heat pumps interacts with a future production park (horizon 2030), in terms of natural gas demand and peak electricity demand.
