Abstract:

The goal of this conference is to help participants gain a comprehensive view on social innovation in elderly care in Europe and to understand the barriers and obstacles to the provision of care at home and in residential settings. In the plenary session we will look at the risks and opportunities for social innovation in independent living. Workshops in the afternoon will show best practices from across Europe on how to increase the autonomy of elderly, technological support for those in need, integrated care coordination and active ageing and minority groups.
