Abstract:
The electrodeposition of Ni-Cu alloy in citrate and pyrophosphate baths was investigated. The effect of the copper multiplied by (times) concentration of the bath, the cathodic current density, temperature and agitation on the cathode current efficiency, on the copper content and on the quality of the deposits were studied. Sound coherent Ni-Cu alloy coatings having determined composition and low internal stresses were obtained.
