Abstract:
The synthesis of FAU-on-EMT overgrowth material was studied. The FAU-on-EMT overgrowth material was characterized by a micropore volume of 0.30 mL/g and high crystallinity indicating that all the pores were accessible to N, eliminating pore blocking at the interfaces. The specific external surface area of the overgrowth sample estimated with the t-plot method was 7 m2/g, compared to 1.9 m2/g for the support crystals.
