Abstract:

In this lecture, I have presented a testimony of my experiences with starting up a new PhD program, like we did in the transition period between Sint-Lucas School of A rchitecture and KU Leuven faculty of Architecture, and of what this program has meant for the further development and academisation for our faculty. I was invited by the University of Ljubljana that is embarking on a new PhD program in the Arts.
