Calphad-computer coupling of phase diagrams and thermochemistry vol:18 issue:2 pages:223-234
A Thermodynamic description of the Fe-Ti system is obtained by a least-square optimisation of the thermochemical and phase diagram data from literature. SGTE recommended expressions for the Gibbs energies of pure elements are used. The Laves phase is modelled using a three-sublattice model that takes care of its homogeneity range. Calculated phase diagram and the thermochemical properties show good agreement with the experimental data.
