Abstract: In this paper, we present an algebraic multigrid algorithm for fully coupled implicit Runge-Kutta (IRK) time discretizations of the eddy current problem. The algorithm uses a blocksmoother. By a theoretical analysis and numerical experiments, we show that the convergence is similar to the convergence of the scalar algebraic multigrid algorithm on which it is based.
