Welcome to the Jan Ronse Institute.

The Jan Ronse Institute was established in 1988, in the heart of the Law Faculty of the K.U.Leuven. It was named after its founder, prof. dr. J. Ronse (+1988), who was an authority in Belgian and Dutch company law.

The main purpose of the Institute consists of education and research in the field of company, association and financial law.

The website, www.law.kuleuven.be/jri , offers useful information (in Dutch - Belgium) on the research activities of the Jan Ronse Institute, as well as an overview of the most important publications to which this research has led. You will also find a list of recent conferences that were organized in collaboration with the Jan Ronse Institute.

History

The Jan Ronse Institute for company law, established in 1988, was named after its founder, prof. dr. Jan Ronse, who taught company law at the K.U.Leuven for twenty years (1967-1986).
