Abstract:

Concept for the monolithic integration of a special photoconductive receiver with a high efficiency LED leading to a powerful smart pixel device has been discussed. Non-resonant cavity LEDs (NRC-LEDs) are suited for medium power applications and easy monolithic integration with the other components and also for the large arrays of devices.
