Abstract:
Flanders region in Belgium introduced a generalized personal care budget system on jan 1st 2017. It is not replacement income nor aids or home improvements , it is a care budget that is specifically intended for assistance, support , social care etc. The system is founded on a citizenship approach to disability and community based integrated care model from the World Health Organisation.
