Background. Continuous and minimally invasive near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS)-derived gastric tissue oxygen saturation (GStO(2)) and muscle tissue oxygen saturation (MStO(2)) were evaluated in a clinically relevant porcine model of hemorrhagic shock and abdominal compartment syndrome (ACS).
