Abstract: One of the aims for induced egg laying stop in hens, besides restoring the egg production level for a second laying year, is an increase in egg quality compared to the end of the first laying year. The improvement however seems to be dependent on several internal and external factors. The following experiment was designed to study the effects and interacting effects of molting age, strain and molting method on different egg quality parameters.
