Abstract: Amorphous Tb-160 : TbFe4 has been studied in the temperature range down to 5 mK and in external magnetic fields up to 8.5 T using the low-temperature nuclear orientation technique. The Tb magnetic moments are noncollinear with respect to B(ext) even up to B(ext) = 8.5 T. The hysteresis loop, which was reconstructed from the experimental data, shows the coercive field to be almost-equal-to 1 T, which is considerably lower than in amorphous TbFe2.
