Abstract:

The Parckdesign 2014: Parckfarm project won the prize for public space 2015 because of having introduced a bottom-up approach in a top-down project. During the conference we presented what was the process of having achieved the participation of almost 100 local actors into the development of the Parckdesign 2014: Parckfarm festival. Because of the great acceptance of the local actors and regional visitors the temporary festival was expanded to a permanent project that is run by the vzw Parckfarm T&T, set-up by myself and several local actors.
