Entering Twice is an experiential installation in the Entrepot of Arts (OPEK) in Leuven. The par- ticular hall chosen for the installation has long, monotonous features that tend to weaken our experience of the space. To intensify our ‘being’ in the hall I reinstalled the act of entering. The moment of entering a room is a highly sensorial moment. When leaving one place and entering a new one, a change in color, light, proportion, texture and other spatial features is experienced. By placing an installation with the typological elements of a threshold in the middle of the hall, the intensity we experience at the beginning of the hall is repeated further on in the hall.
