The very neutron-deficient Rh-91,Rh-92,Rh-93 and Ru-90,Ru-91 nuclei were produced in Ni-58(Ar-36,Ar-40, xn yp) fusion-evaporation reactions. Reaction products leaving the target were stopped in a gas cell and selectively laser ionised before mass separation using the LISOL setup. Data were collected in singles and coincidence formats to investigate beta-delayed and isomeric gamma decays. Ground-state decays of Rh-91,Rh-93 to excited states in the daughter nucleus were identified for the first time and the decay schemes of Ru-90,Ru-91 were expanded. The low-spin isomeric decay of Rh-92 was identified for the first time and detail added to the decay scheme of the known high-spin state. Results are discussed in terms of comparison with shell model calculations. beta-delayed proton activity in the lighter Rh-90 and Ru-89 isotopes was also investigated and upper limits for this decay mode in these two nuclei have been included.
