The beta-decay- properties of Co-67 produced in proton-induced fission of U-238 were measured by the detection of beta-delayed gamma rays emitted from an isotopically pure mass-separated source obtained by laser ionization. The measured half-life of 0.425(20) s is more accurate than previous values. New gamma transitions were observed, and corresponding branching ratios and log ft values were: deduced. The Co-67 decay scheme is discussed in terms of the single-particle shell model. [S0556-2813(99)04904-3].
