Abstract: Nearly 40 known RR Lyrae stars are located in the Kepler field. The outstandingly high-precision data of these stars are investigated within the RR Lyrae working group as part of the Kepler Asteroseismic Science Consortium (KASC).

In this talk I present the most interesting results obtained with Kepler data of RR Lyrae stars, and their implications for our understanding of RR Lyrae stars and the still mysterious Blazhko effect.
