In this paper we present a spatial model of the EU antidumping procedure. Based on this model we identify the key players in this procedure. Furthermore we look into the consequences for the different interest groups and institutions and their respective strategies. In a small extension of the model we look into the case in which the European Parliament (EP) would become a second veto player in the antidumping procedure. We find that this would only have an effect on the outcome of the procedure in case the EP is more reluctant to impose antidumping duties than the pivotal member state. Furthermore, we give an overview of antidumping in the past decade 2003-2013.
