Abstract: T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL) is caused by a combination of gene fusions leading to the over-expression of transcription factors and cooperative point mutations in oncogenes and tumor suppressor genes. We used exome sequencing on 67 T-ALLs to gain insight into the genomic landscape of these leukemias. By developing analyses strategies to minimize the rate of false discovery, we identified 7 novel driver genes. Additionally, we used RNAseq on 39 samples to decipher the transcriptomic landscape of T-ALL and identified novel fusion events, as well as, RNA mutations.
