Abstract: A combination of two well-established NMR methods, namely, phosphorus decoupling and 1D-TOCSY, provides identification of phosphorylation sites in a simple and straightforward manner in small to medium-sized oligosaccharides. The method is demonstrated on Man-P-GlcMan(7)GlcNAc(2), a glycoprotein-derived N-linked type oligosaccharide.
