Abstract:

EEBOCorp 1.0 is an offline conversion fit for quantitative linguistic studies of the EEBO-database (eebo.chadwyck.com), containing most English books printed between 1473-1700. The corpus consists of around 525 million words. The source files have entered the public domain on 1 January 2015 (https://github.com/Text-Creation-Partnership), and EEBOcorp is now accordingly made publicly available. The corpus can currently be downloaded from https://perswww.kuleuven.be/~u0050685/EEBOcorp1_0.zip The zip-file also contains version 1.7 of the concordancing software.
