Title: The decrease of the hole mobility in a molecularly doped polymer at high electric-fields

Abstract: The hole mobility in polycarbonate doped with 17% of a triphenylaminobenzene derivative decreases as the electric field increases above 1 x 10(6) V/cm. It was possible to fit the mobility data to the expression derived by Marcus, relating the free energy of hole transfer to the free activation energy of this process, with the hopping distance (r), reorganization energy (lambda) and k0), the hole transfer rate constant when DELTA-G0 equals -lambda, as adjustable parameters. Values of 2.7 nm. 0.33 eV, 4.88 x 10(6) s-1 respectively, were obtained for these parameters.
