Abstract: Context. Oscillations in coronal loops are usually interpreted in terms of uncoupled magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) waves. Examples of these waves are standing transverse motions, interpreted as the kinkMHD modes, and propagating slow modes, commonly reported at the loop footpoints.
