Abstract: In recent years compact, precise impedance measurement electronics has proved to be a reasonable alternative for dedicated measurement tasks like impedance measurement of resonant sensors In this contribution a novel design of a compact impedance analyser is presented as well as the target application, a quartz crystal resonator (QCR) viscosity sensor for conductive liquids, which is intended for the monitoring of a zeolite synthesis process aboard the International Space Station (ISS).
