Collaboration becomes unavoidable since partners increasingly enter the field of community work. Relationships of dependence among partners give rise to a variety of interaction strategies, ranging from noncommittal consultation to extreme collaboration and even merging operations. The complexity and dynamics of cooperative networks can be apprehended within the three dimensions of task, relation and growth. Partners, when planning, are coerced into using models for negotiations and interactions and into rethinking the participation of the target groups within this framework.
