Abstract: In this study, a data-driven identification technique
is proposed to model the static and dynamic behavior of
multivariate and complex industrial processes. The development of models and controllers for such type of industrial processes is always a challenge because of the large amount of available information. Therefore, a method is presented to extract the most interesting information out of these large data sets.
In this study, the general applicability of these identification techniques was illustrated on the static characteristics of the cleaning process of a CNH CX combine harvester, which is a typical example of a complex multivariate non-linear process.
