Abstract:

In six letters - three propositions, three critical answers - I attempt to question the implicit, unthought and oppressive use of 'universal' theological concepts. Starting point and central theme is Rahner's understanding of 'anonymous Christians' as backside of the concept of catholicity, and its theological implications for thinking universality and representation.
