The anisotropy of electrical transport and optically-induced thermoelectrical signals in YBa2Cu3O7-x thin films with tilted (0 degrees<alpha less than or equal to 45 degrees) orientation of c-axis was studied. The evolution of electrical transport with the increase of tilt angle was interpreted by the HREM data of the microstructure of the films. Overlap-type YBa2Cu3O7-x/PrBa2Cu3O7-x/YBa2Cu3O7-x junctions were fabricated using tilted c-axis thin films as base electrodes. The current distribution in fabricated junctions was studied by an imaging technique based on laser scanning microscopy.
