Abstract: The beta-nu angular correlation in the beta(+) decay of Ne-18 and O-14 has been investigated using a new experimental technique. The technique is based on the precise measurement of the energy Doppler shift of a gamma-quantum following the beta+/- decay. The measurement with the Ne-18 isotope gives the beta-nu angular correlation coefficient alpha = +1.06 +/-0.19 which corresponds to a constraint on the scalar interaction of root\C-S\(2) + \C-S'\(2) less than or equal to 0.29 \C-V\. An inter-atomic interaction between the O-14 daughter atom (N-14) and a CO complex has been studied in a measurement with the O-14 isotope.
