Series Title: BenToWeb deliverable D 4.1.
Abstract: This document describes test suites and quality assurance methods for W3C recommendations. It briefly describes how test suites are defined by the W3C Quality Assurance activity. The next chapter analyses accessibility-related test suites (both drafts and finished versions) from which BenToWeb may use materials and/or gather ideas. The analysis addresses scope, coverage, size, automation aspects and copyright/licensing issues. The next chapter discusses the architecture of W3C test suites. The DOM test suite is used as an illustrative example of a suite with a high degree of automation. The final chapter discusses future work that is required to move from test suites to benchmarks.
