|Abstract: ||MOPS is a flexible Operation Planning System for prismatic pieces characterised by the fact that its general layout is firm independent, separated from the firm specific data and decision rules.
It is based on the analysis of a workpiece in a limited number of elements corresponding with n specific transformation which groups a related number and sequence of elementary operations.
For each alternative a cost and time calculation is made by the computer which then proposes the optimal solution taking the constraints into account.
If required, the operation can interactively interface at every stage of the planning process!
