Sino-Western cultural relations journal vol:28 pages:1-18
Reproduction (pp. 3, 5, 12-13, 16-17) of a photograph (published in Maggs Brothers, catalogue 1102, London, 1989) of a sheet with five circular pictures, representing the Four Last Things (Death, Judgement, Heaven, Hell) and surrounding a picture of a skeleton (memento mori), modelled after Vesalius and/or Valverde. The anonymous and undated sheet is likely to be a copy of the sheet which Andrea-Giovanni Lubelli S.J. (1611-1685) is known to have published in China. Probably we are dealing with a unique copy of that sheet.
