Abstract: Introduction and comments to, and Dutch translation (pp. 26-29) of, two Christian poems attributed to Xu Guangqi (1562-1633), one of them found in a collection of Chinese texts at 'E-ke-sa-dun' (located in Austria, according to the Chinese editor of Xu's collected writings published around 1900 ), which 'place' eventually appears to be the house Exaeten in Baexem (Dutch Limburg), where around 1900 the Jesuit Archives from Rome (ARSI) were temporarily housed.
