Abstract: Magnetic circular dichroism (MCD) and absorption spectra of a 1% Eu3+ doped fluorophosphate glass are considered. The glass composition is 58 mol% NaPO3, 11 mol% BaF2, 30 mol% YF3 and 1 mol% EuF3. Spectra are recorded between 16500 and 40000 cm-1. The dipole strengths D are given together with the Faraday (or MCD) parameters.
