Abstract: The superconducting state is described and the phase boundary is determined for mesoscopic superconducting square loops of intermediate sizes comparable with the coherence length and the penetration depth. The calculated phase boundaries are in good agreement with the experimental data obtained for the Al mesoscopic superconducting square loops. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
