We report a case of uterine prolapse in a young woman, treated by posterior intravaginal slingplasty with preservation of the uterus as a feasible and safe surgical procedure. Posterior intravaginal slingplasty is commonly used to correct vaginal vault prolapse, but may be a valuable alternative to correct uterine prolapse. We compare this technique to other techniques to correct uterine prolapse. Copyright (c) 2007 S. Karger AG, Basel.
