Title: The gospel preached by the deaf: conversation as complete form of language in pastoral ministry with the deaf
Authors: Broesterhuizen, Marcel # ×
Issue Date: 2002
Series Title: Louvain studies vol:27 issue:4 pages:369-375
Abstract: For deaf people language is not emotionally neutral. Language means either belonging or alienation. Based on this experience a pragmatic view on language and communication is described, in which the complete form of language is the conversation from heart to heart. Consequences for catechesis and pastoral ministry are described.
