Abstract:

The infrared spectrum of methylacetate is presented in argon matrices at 12 K. An assignment of monomer and dimer absorptions is proposed. The ester molecules are believed to be H-bonded in the dimer system. © 1983, Taylor & Francis Group, LLC. All rights reserved.
